Hagop Makdis

Man Of Opportunities or Hagop Makdis is the founder and director of “Big Mind” educational and business center, a top-ranking communication training specialist, speaker, lecturer, personal development coach, and certified NLP practitioner trainer with over 10 years of experience, at regional and international levels. Since 2013, he has held hundreds of training sessions in soft-life skills with the help of which over 3000 people have enhanced their communication and soft skills. he is also a certified and exalted communication specialist at the American International Center. Hagop opens the line of communication between clients, customers, and businesses.

📍 Hagop Makdis started his academic journey back in Syria, earning his Bachelor’s Degree of
Life Science from the Faculty of Science at Aleppo University. After completing his master’s degree in the same department at Aleppo State University, he moved to Armenia, Hagop’s dedication and passion for continuing education drove him to earn his second master’s degree in life sciences at Yerevan State University which he graduated with honors. Hagop possesses proficient language skills in Armenian, Arabic, and English languages. Being actively involved in social life during his student years, Hagop attended sports, drama, and debate clubs.

📍Hagop started his professional journey meanwhile. Due to his professional and personal strengths, Hagop Makdis was consistently employed as a manager, coach, trainer, and mentor at a number of companies and organizations, in Syria, Lebanon, and Armenia. He has collaborated with Syria Trust for Development Organization, International Committee of the Red Cross, CPC Center, Fund for Armenian Relief, Slice Academy, IAB International Business Academy, The first business school, UNICEF, Coca-Cola HBC Armenia, World Vision, and other well-respected companies.

📍Most recent positions included Lecturer at the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia, Communication Strategy Specialist at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the RA, and Chief Executive Officer at ArmArabia- Armenian-Arab Partnership Center.
Hagop Makdis is also the deputy director of the “Karo Hovagimyan” Foundation.

📍Hagop Makdis is well respected and honored by all the people who had the chance to cooperate with him. It is not surprising that he was awarded the title of “Best Lecturer” of 2020-2021.
